Whiteout

Ever heard of cold sweat?Well, prepare for cold blood in this movie.

Coming out this Sept 18th, it's probably Kate Beckinsale's major appearance after the film Underworld : Rise of The Lycans earlier this year. Yes people, it is been 9 months since that!
My god, how fast time flies huh?

Okay,so as always, here comes the synopsis :

For U.S. Marshal Carrie Stetko(Kate Beckinsale), things are about to get even more dangerous. The only law enforcement in this unforgiving territory, she has just been sent to investigate a body on the ice. Antarctica's first homicide. She crosses paths with a U.N. operative (Gabriel Macht), also investigating the murder. A shocking discovery in itself, it will plunge her into an even more bizarre mystery and the revelation of secrets long-buried under the endless ice--secrets that someone believes are still worth killing for. As Stetko races to find the killer before he finds her, winter is already closing in. In the deadly Antarctic whiteout, she won't see him till he's a breath away.

Pretty interesting eh?Well, that would have to wait until the movie is really out. But interesting storyline though, which the movie had the "curiosity effect", as in how did someone died because of murder in the Antarctica, and why...?We would just have to find out ourselves...

Honestly,I'm not quite into a serious/reality thriller story that had no "unique causes".By unique, I meant causes like, the murder was caused by aliens, or a government experiment gone wrong and stuff.

But since Kate Beckinsale in it, I guess I'll give it a try. Afterall, sticking to only one thing is boring, ain't it?

Haha.Here's a trailer of the movie :

Whiteout (2009 film) Movie Trailer

Okay then."Cool" trailer huh?Hope you guys are satisfied with that.So next,I'm gonna introduce the main casts of the movie.

Okay, first up, is the lady I've been yapping about since the start, Kate Beckinsale! Star of the Underworld trilogy, she has built up quite a reputation in Hollywood and has a huge fan base.
It may be stated that, she was first noticed in the 2001 film Pearl Harbor as the brave Nurse Lt. Evelyn Johnson.

In 2003, she starred in the mythologically-driven hit movie Underworld as the beautiful and deadly Selene, and she went on with the other two of the series : Underworld : Evolution and Underworld : Rise of The Lycans.

Other hit movies she starred in was Van Helsing, playing as the sexy Anna Valerius. Also, she was Donna Newman in the movie Click, with co-star Adam Sandler.

Alright!Enough about her(although I don't seem to have) and move on the others. Right, so the next one is...ok,Gabriel Macht!

Any comic/superhero movie fans out there?Do you remember a movie called The Spirit?Yeap,he was The Spirit in The Spirit. He'll be playing the U.N operative Robert Pryce, who also investigates the murder. I hope he won't become The Spirit in the middle of this movie, and saved Kate Beckinsale the hassle of capturing the murderer.LOL.

And also,we have the experienced and veteran actor, Alex O'Loughlin. Honestly, a mainstream moviegoer like me would have not known him. But as far as his ImDb and Wikipedia list of filmography states, he is really one hellovan actor! To me,the more experience, the better.

So it seems that the main casts are has quite the reputations in the field. And here are the lists of the rest :
